In a parallel universe, Barbra is a lounge singer in Reno. The video for her haunting take on Jim Steinman’s typically epic (Steinman also wrote Total Eclipse of the Heart, It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That) and so on) Left in the Dark sees our beloved Malibu billionairess slugging a beer straight from the bottle and sucking on cigarettes while perched on a stool in a vulgar cocktail outfit.

Did you know: a lifelong smoker, Barbra is never pictured with a cigarette in her mouth, though you can see her take a drag on one before stepping on stage for her electrifying 1993 Concert (clip below):
