Simply Streisand #12

During the first wave of her New Vogue, Barbra released the essential Color Me Barbra, a television special filmed in color technology so new that when two of the three cameras broke down before filming there were no spare parts available to fix them!

She staged her performance of Non C’est Rien (in flawless French) in a shorthand of a Parisian cafe - there’s a tiny glass of red wine on the table that she deigns to lift at one point in a mock santé to unseen bohemians.

I’m not 100% sure why Modigliani’s Portrait of a Polish Woman is used as the inspiration for this scene, but who on Earth would dare to argue?
